Immunity to Change (ITC) The coaching approach with individuals and teams is based on the popular book Immunity to Change, How to Overcome It and Unlock the Potential in Yourself and Your Organization, Kegan and Lahey. Their research shows how individual beliefs, along with the collective mindsets in organizations, combine to create a natural but powerful immunity to change. Individual and/or team coaching helps to reveal how our best intentions are sabotaged by unintentional behaviors. The ITC map or x-ray, demonstrates how we have one foot on the gas with the other foot on the brake. Individualized action plans are created and monitored to motivate individuals and organizations. This coaching approach is used alone or in conjunction with training programs to increase the implementation of sustainable change in the workplace.
